These Terms are the agreement between you and Todonex. They explain how your account, the Free and Premium plans, payments, cancellation and refunds work, and what each side can expect from the other. By creating an account or using Todonex, you agree to these Terms. How we use your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

1. Who provides Todonex

Todonex is provided by WordHost (Sergio Canabarro Vidal Junior), Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 43.639.043/0001-24. To reach us, write to support@todonex.com.

2. What Todonex is

Todonex is a to-do list app that runs in the browser, at app.todonex.com, and can be installed on your phone and computer. There's a Free plan, with no end date, and the Premium plan, a paid subscription with extra features.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, use Todonex with the permission of your parents or guardians, who are also responsible for any Premium purchase.
  • Use your real name and an email address you can access. Your sign-up must be confirmed through the link sent to your email within 24 hours, or it's deleted automatically.
  • Your account is personal. You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for what's done with your account. If you suspect misuse, change your password and let us know.

4. Acceptable use

When using Todonex, you agree not to:

  • use the service for illegal activities, or to store or share unlawful content, content that violates other people's rights or content that encourages violence or discrimination;
  • use shared lists to send spam, deceive or harass other people;
  • try to access accounts, data or systems without permission, or test for security flaws without our consent;
  • overload the service, use bots or automation, copy the software or get around plan limits.

If you find a security flaw, tell us at support@todonex.com before making it public. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, notifying you whenever possible.

5. Your content

Everything you create in Todonex, such as lists, tasks, notes and your profile photo, remains yours. You only give us the permission needed to store, sync and show that content to you and to the people you share a list with, solely to provide the service.

You're responsible for what you create and share. Don't use Todonex to store passwords, banking details or health information.

6. Shared lists

  • With Premium, you can share a list with up to 10 people who have a Todonex account, each one allowed either to edit or only to view.
  • People who receive a list don't need Premium. On the Free plan, you can take part in up to 3 shared lists at a time.
  • People on a list see its content and some information about each other, such as name and photo, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • A list belongs to whoever created it. Tasks added by other people stay on the list even if they leave it or delete their account. If the owner deletes the list or their account, the list is gone for everyone. If the owner stops being Premium, sharing is paused.

7. Plans and limits

  • Free: no cost, with up to 10 lists and up to 50 tasks in progress per list.
  • Premium: unlocks Calendar, Timer, Priorities, Favorites, Notes, Trash, Share, Duplicate lists and the color themes, with up to 100 lists and up to 300 tasks in progress per list.
  • On both plans, each list holds up to 1,000 tasks, counting completed ones.

The features and limits of each plan are shown on the website and in the app. We may improve or change features over time. If a change reduces what Premium offers to people who already pay for it, we'll let you know beforehand. You'll be able to cancel and, if you paid for the yearly plan, get back the proportional amount for the time left.

8. Premium: price and payment

  • Premium is a monthly or yearly subscription, paid by card through Stripe. The price is shown before you pay, in the currency of the country you subscribe from: Brazilian reais in Brazil and US dollars in the United States (if you subscribed before, you keep the currency of your first subscription). For now, Premium is only sold in these two countries.
  • The amount shown is the amount charged. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, charging the same card, until you cancel.
  • You can switch between the monthly and yearly plans in the app. The switch takes effect right away: the unused time on your current plan becomes a discount, and the difference is either charged right away or kept as credit for your next renewals. The app shows the amounts before you confirm.
  • If a renewal charge isn't approved, Stripe tries again over the following days. Meanwhile, you keep Premium and can pay with another card in the app. If no attempt succeeds, your account goes back to the Free plan.

9. Cancellation and refunds

  • Canceling: you can cancel whenever you want, with no fee, under Manage Account in the app. Premium continues until the end of the period you've already paid for and doesn't renew. Until that date, you can reactivate the subscription.
  • 7-day refund: you can change your mind within 7 calendar days of subscribing and get a full refund, as guaranteed by article 49 of Brazil's Consumer Defense Code. This applies to every subscriber, in Brazil or elsewhere, and also to the charge made when switching from the monthly to the yearly plan. To ask for it, write to support@todonex.com from your account's email address or use Support in the app, and we'll confirm we received your request. This applies to each new subscription, not to automatic renewals. The refund goes back to the same card, and how long it takes to show up depends on your bank.
  • After that period, we don't refund amounts for the period already paid, except where the law requires it or when the problem was caused by us.
  • Plan switch credit: if your subscription ends, because you canceled or deleted your account, with credit left over from a plan switch, you can ask support to refund that amount.
  • Deleting your account cancels the subscription immediately, and any remaining time no longer applies. If you subscribed less than 7 days ago and want a refund, ideally ask before deleting your account, so we can find the payment faster.

10. Price changes

We may change Premium prices. If we do, we'll email current subscribers at least 30 days in advance, and the new price will only apply from the first renewal after that notice period. If you don't agree, just cancel before the renewal.

11. Going back to the Free plan

Nothing is deleted. You can keep editing your first 10 lists. The others stay visible but locked: you can't add, complete, edit, move or delete tasks in them, and the only thing you can do is delete the whole list. Premium features stop working, and sharing of your lists is paused. Items already in the Trash can be restored until they expire. When you go back to Premium, everything is unlocked again.

12. Service availability

We work to keep Todonex up at all times, but it may be unavailable during maintenance or because of internet and provider failures. If we ever decide to shut Todonex down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice, refund the proportional amount for paid time not yet used, and you'll be able to ask for a copy of your data.

13. Liability

Todonex is an organization tool. Reminders and notifications depend on your device, your browser, the permissions you grant and your internet connection, so they may be delayed or not arrive for reasons beyond our control. Don't rely on Todonex as your only way to remember critical commitments, such as medication times or legal deadlines.

We're not responsible for the content people create and share on Todonex. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under Brazil's Consumer Defense Code or any other consumer protection law that applies to you.

14. Brand and software

The Todonex brand, logo, look and the website and app software belong to WordHost. You may use them only to use the service, without copying, modifying or distributing them.

15. Communications

We email you the messages the service needs, such as sign-up confirmation, password reset and important notices about your account, your subscription and these Terms. News and offer emails are sent only with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time through the link in the email itself.

16. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time under Manage Account in the app. Deleting it erases your account and your content, as explained in the Privacy Policy, and can't be undone. We may also close accounts that violate these Terms or the law, notifying you whenever possible.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date of the last update is at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect and, when needed, ask you to accept the new version. If you don't agree, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you're a consumer, you can bring any dispute before the courts where you live. If you live outside Brazil, the consumer protections guaranteed by the law of your country still apply. Before anything else, talk to us: almost everything can be solved by email.
